This year Sixth Class entered the 'Junior Entrepreneur Programme' (Jep). The programme is designed to open up their eyes to the world of entrepreneurship and business and gives them full control over a business of their choice. Luckily for us they came up with the idea of running a table quiz. They prepared their questions by asking teachers what the children have been learning about recently.
The children had great fun at the table quiz, which was extremely well run by the girls.
Here's the winning team...

Seachtain na Gaeilge
Seachtain na Gaeilge has been so much fun so far this week.
In 1st class we have learned "The Haka". 5th Class were very kind to come and teach us the words and movements. We have taken part in the school Tráth na gCeist (Table Quiz), played some Bingo, sang lots of songs for our ceolchoirm (concert) on Friday and did lots of art activities. We have tried our best to speak more Irish this week and we all hope to win Gaeilgeoir an Lae certificates each day. We cannot wait to go Irish Dancing tomorrow and perform our Hócaí Pócaí on Friday. Don't forget it's Lá Glas this Friday(so wear something Green!)
