Busy Bees!!!

It has been a very busy week here in First  Class! We were all very excited to start swimming lessons on Tuesday. We were so well behaved and had great fun!  We can't wait for our next lesson.
We continued to celebrate Chinese New Year and made beautiful fans - we even wrote the Chinese symbol for 'sheep' as this year is the year of the sheep.  You can see our fans on display in reception.
On Thursday we were treated to pancakes by the 'Dad's Club'. They were delicious - thanks Dads!

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Chinese New Year celebrations are happening all over the world this week. Did you know that 2015 is the year of the sheep. In 1st class we worked out that we were born either in 2007 which was the year of the Pig, or 2008 which was the year of the Rat. Can you work out what Zodiac animal your birth year was?
Ravenswell school have been taking part in many activities to celebrate. Have a look at what 1st class are up to. We have made chinese lanterns, painted koi fish, made chinese fans using water colours and researced chinese new year for our writing projects.
