Sunny Summer Days
Earlier on in the year 2nd class planted lettuce and flowers in our garden box. The children have looked after them and taken turns to go down to the garden with Denise to water them. Well done everyone, the garden box looks great! Here are a few photos of us sketching in the sunshine and looking after our box.
Active Schools week
Active Schools week was a great success this year. Thanks to Mary Collins for organising. Children had a talk on Cycling Safety and got to cycle around the school yard, taking part in different activities. Here are a few photos from 'Bike Day'.
2nd Class tour 2014
We had a great time on our school tour. The weather was fantastic for the beach. We ate ice creams and paddled in the sea and followed this up with a trip to the bowling alley and a slice of pizza. Great fun was had by all. Here are a few pictures of the day!
2nd Class art at home projects
2nd class took a trip around our Solar System and made planets for their art at home projects based on the research they undertook using the school tablets. Thank you to all the children and parents for all their hard work! Well Done!
